Dedicated to raising the bar through our commitment to ethical standards in the fashion industry, we have partnered with multiple Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) and the underprivileged in Malaysia, and actively looking out for more meaningful partnerships. We aim to provide an ethical way to build livelihoods.

OUR PRODUCTION PARTNERS

Hazara Refugees Women Empowerment (HRWE)

Established in 2018, the Hazara Refugees Women Empowerment centre (HRWE) aims to empower the Afghan refugee community by providing English classes and handicraft, and functions as a learning centre for pre-primary students and adults.


Yellowhouse KL

Yellow House is a not for profit grassroots community organization dedicated to improving lives to be more sustainable for homeless people, urban poor, and refugee communities in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur.

Yellow House runs an initiative called Sustainable Livelihoods Project for Refugees under their Street People Project which aims to “offer a series of paid and consistent part-time jobs for rough sleeping homeless men and women to gently re-enter the workforce”. Yellow House intends to provide these individuals guidance during this transition period into leading a self-sustaining lifestyle..

Our Malaysia

Our products are hand-made by refugee women from Myanmar, working from home, allowing them to take care of their children while their husbands are at work.

The goal of Our Malaysia is to help refugees in Malaysia to a better life by helping them create and run their own businesses. The project is aimed mainly at women, offering them skills training, business knowledge as well as English coaching.


Young Womens' Christian Association of Kuala Lumpur (YWCA KL)

One of the oldest women's NGO's in Malaysia, YWCA KL has been providing safe and affordable accommodation and developmental programs for young women in the heart of KL city since 1953. Proceeds from projects and accommodation go towards the development of women and girls irrespective of race, religion, culture, language and socio-economic circumstances. In 1998, YWCA Kuala Lumpur set up the Vocational Training Opportunity Centre (VTOC) to provide much needed skills training for underprivileged young women and girls from economically disadvantaged families.

Ashfaq Ahmed

Ashfaq hails from Pakistan. He came to Kuala Lumpur to provide a good life for his family back home. Ashfaq has been sewing since 1985 and has been with Biji Biji for the past 5 years. With decades of experience in stitching techniques, his input has helped improved our product quality standards and to meet growing demands.


our wages

We commit RM91 for a day's work to our production partners. Our product piece rate for tailors is calculated based on this amount.

This rate is 60% higher than the national minimum wage of RM54 per day
